College is another place you could utilize to network. I have found jobs at colleges, and have hired people from college campuses before. There are often places you can list available work, and can even apply for jobs. It is not the most ideal though, as a lot of the jobs are small time, but there are some hidden gems.
I wish I stuck with college. I dropped out after 3 years and regret it. Thankfully I was able to find something that worked for me, and kept it going since. I think these days, college isn’t needed, but if it works for you, the more power to ya! 🙂
Glad you asked. Are you a freelance writer? Post some articles and advertise that you are looking for work.
Are you a graphicc designer show somw of your work , explain why it works and let eveyone know you are open for business.
Are you a great sales person? Explain the sales process and l someone your service.
Get on the forum introduce yourself and start talking.
